What we believe in
We are convinced that private, public, and non-governmental organisations should work with a systemic approach in order to tackle the economic, social, and environmental challenges that the world faces. We believe that access to quality food is a basic right and that people’s empowerment is part of the solution. Our mission is to provide local communities access to quality food through entrepreneurship and economic opportunities.
Meet our founders!
BONAMÍ FOOD PRODUCTS is a food processing social enterprise created in Capiz in November 2015. It was founded by two Gawad Kalinga volunteers: Jose Antonio A. Morente, Filipino, and Félix Guelfucci, French. As they are both food lovers and passionate volunteers, they created this social enterprise in order to further help the local communities without relying on donations.
Jose Antonio and Félix are still volunteers of Gawad Kalinga Capiz.
